Nissan Middle East and members of the GTZ Club met recently during a day filled with fun activities and driving to celebrate the club’s 2nd anniversary in the UAE which took place mid of January. Around Fifty loyal enthusiasts of Nissan’s eye-catching luxury sports models gathered for their monthly meeting to drive around the United Arab Emirates and share each other’s love for Nissan vehicles.
The GTZ Club was launched in September 2008 by Infiniti owner Samer Al Saleh who contacted fellow owners to join the club. “All the passion I have for Nissan cars had to find an outlet and from there on my quest started. I began by simply talking to Nissan drivers I met on the road to tell them more about my idea and then of course the idea grew virally. Finally we managed to conduct our first meeting on September 25th in Abu Dhabi”, commented Samer.
The 2nd anniversary was celebrated at Jebel Hafeet area in Al Ain with a long drive reaching Grand Mercure hotel for lunch. “This is a great initiative from one of our Nissan owners who decided to launch an exclusive club in the United Arab Emirates. It is a purely non-profit fun club dedicated to servicing the needs of Nissan enthusiasts. We consider the members as our partners in promoting the Nissan brand and with their help we will be able to achieve the brand’s commitment across the region,” commented Yuta Yamazaki, Passenger Vehicle Brand Manager at Nissan Middle East.
